A Share of Heaven……

Thank you God for my share of heaven
As the day changes colours from the bright daybreak to the blue dusk
The Sun showering all its golden blessings
And sometimes being naughty, blinding my eyes
The moon lighting up the sky with its smile at me
The trees, so-green, nodding their heads after a cozy tête-à-tête
The gentle caressing breeze whispers their tales
Two sunbirds flowing in for a rendezvous
But leaving too early, bothered by the worldly beings
The dear snail invites itself as a pleasant surprise
The little squirrels racing to and fro
Professor Cuckoo gives amazing music lessons
And he goes “Koo-o-oo Koo-o-oo”
As I try to follow like a good pupil-
Raindrops help too playing a sweet rhythm
My heart in a blessed daze just sings…
“How can I not thank you Dear God
For this divine gift-A Share of Your Heaven”
