जीवन में मानें नहीं हार
बादल ढक लें सूरज को दिन चार
उसकी चमक न धुंधलाए
चाहे कोशिशें कर लें हज़ार
जीवन में मानें नहीं हार

मिट्टी में भी मिल जाएँ तो क्या
मिट्टी अपनी जननी है
बीज की तरह फिर उगें, बढ़ें
फलों फूलों से लदे वृक्ष हो जाएँ
जीवन में मानें नहीं हार

विपत्तियों में जलें तो क्या
जलें, गिरें फिर उठें
उस अमरपक्षी की तरह
पुनर्जीवित जो होता है अपनी ही राख से!

Never give up in life
Clouds may shroud the Sun for a few days
But cannot fade the Sunlight
No matter how hard the clouds try
Never give up in life

Even if you are totally ruined
Believe in yourself
Grow again like a seed
Be a tree laden with fruits and flowers
Never give up in life

What if you burn in calamities
Burn, fall, then rise
like the Phoenix from his ashes!

When the cape of misery cloaks and shrouds
Peep at the rainbow, forget the clouds

When face to face with a malady
Sport a smile, turn it into a melody

Just stick your neck out, don’t whine!
Trouble will be on its knees, let your spirit shine!
