इतना सुन्दर जीवन

इतना सुन्दर जीवन मिला है
उसको जीना भी एक कला है
फूल खिले, सूरज निकला है
हर मौसम का अपना मज़ा है
खुश रहें और खुशियाँ बाँटें
ये क्या कठिन काम बड़ा है?
ईश्वर से हमको बहुत मिला है
सूरज की रोशनी सबको दी है
बारिश की बूँदें सबको दीं हैं
फूलों की खुशबू सबको दी है
ठंडी बयार ये सबको दी है
क्यों ये सुन्दरता देख न पाएँ
मन न जाने कहाँ पड़ा है
मन को समेटें, अंतर में झाँकें
जीवन सुन्दर है,ध्यान लगाएँ
सबसे बड़ी बस बात यही है
बाकी सब क्षण में बिसराएँ
खुश रहें, खुशियाँ फैलाएँ

Such a beautiful life
Living it is also an art
The flowers bloom, the sun is shining
Every season has its beauty
Be happy and spread happiness
A difficult task, is it ?
God has given us so much
Sun shines on everyone
Shower of raindrops for everyone
Fragrance of flowers for everyone
The cool breeze for everyone
Why not see this beauty
But elsewhere wanders our mind
Meditate, focus your mind
Life is beautiful, look inside
Thats the biggest thing
All else should be forgotten in a moment

पैसा

पैसा पैसा हाय पैसा
इसकी भूख कभी मिट न पाए

उसके पास स्कूटर है कैसा
मेरे पास केवल साइकिल है
गाड़ी बंगला है तो क्या
उसका बंगला और बड़ा है

अपनों से भी जलन बड़ी है
जल जल के आदमी धुँआ बना है
एक एक इंच ज़मीन के लिए
भाई भाई से लड़ मरा है

अपना जीवन रास न आए
औरों का जीवन ही भाए
दूर के ढोल लगें सुहावने
क्या पता वहाँ क्या ग़म के फ़साने

जिस पर पैसा वो बड़ा आदमी
नीची श्रेणी के काम हों चाहे
जाना है भगवान के दर पे
यहाँ का पैसा वहाँ चल न पाए

अच्छे कर्म ही साथ जाएँगे
संतोषी जीवन ही धन बड़ा है

Everyone is after money
The greed is never satisfied

Why does he have a scooter
When I have only a bicycle
what if I have a car and bungalow
His bungalow is bigger than mine

Jealous even of their loved ones
Man is burning with envy
Even for an inch of land
Brother has fought with brother

People do not like their own lives
But want to live like others
The grass is greener on the other side
Who knows what stories of sorrow lie there

A rich man is a big man
Even if his actions are not good
All of us have to go to God’s doorstep
The money here does not work there

Only good deeds will follow there
Satisfied life is the only wealth

हमें चाहिए बच्चे सी खुशी

हमें चाहिए बच्चे सी खुशी
कौन कहाँ घूम कर आया
किसने कितने नंबर पाए
किसका पद कितना ऊँचा है
किसने मँहगे कपड़े पहने
उसको फ़र्क नहीं पड़ता है
खाली डब्बे के ढक्कन को
खिलौना समझ खूब खेलता है
कागज़ फटकने से हँसता है
उसके लिए सब कुछ जादू है
टाॅफी के रैपर की गुड़िया
कागज़ के हवाई जहाज़ बना दो
वो उनमें उड़ता फिरता है
मधुर संगीत संग झूमता है
कोई उसका शत्रु नहीं है
हमें चाहिए वही खुशी
बच्चे सी वो निर्मल हँसी

We need childlike happiness
Who visited which exotic destination
Who got how many marks
Whose rank is high
Who wore expensive clothes
He does not mind
Empty box lid is his wonderful toy
Laughs to sound of paper cracker
Everything is magic to him
Doll of toffee wrapper
Make paper airplanes
He flies in them
Dances to the sweet music
No one is his enemy
We need the same happiness
The pure laughter of a child

कभी कभी ऐसा होता है
दुख या सुख का मन में
इक सैलाब उमड़ आता है
कला के अनन्त सागर में उसे
बहा देना अच्छा होता है
और फिर रह जाता है
एक हल्का सा मन, एक ज़रा से तुम
इस ब्रह्माण्ड के बहुत छोटे से कण
मणि

When overwhelmed by sadness or happiness
It is good to flow away the excess
In the infinite ocean of art
What remains is
a light mind, a little you
a tiny particle of the universe

जो अब है वही सब है
क्या होता, क्या हुआ, क्या होगा
कितने जीवन नष्ट हुए
इस सोच में रह कर
जो अब है वही सब है !

बीती बातें पुरानी
उससे उपजी वो ग्लानि
छोड़ें आँसू बहाना
दुख के त्योहार मनाना
खो न दें ‘आज’ का अनमोल खज़ाना

जो अब है वही सब है !

भविष्य की अंतहीन कल्पनाएँ
करनी ही हैं तो नए सपने सजाएँ
व्यर्थ चिन्ता में दिल क्यों दुखाना
ईश्वरप्रदत्त शक्ति से करेंगे सामना
सर्वमंगल की कीजिए कामना

जो अब है वही सब है !

How many lives destroyed
lost in this thought

Let go of the past
and the guilt from the past
Stop shedding tears
Celebrating sadness
Do not lose the precious treasure of ‘Today’

Instead of endless future fantasies
Decorate new dreams
Why hurt in vain and worry
Will face all with God-given strength
Wish for all the best in life
